No Short Cuts
The Patagonia Ginseng Shorts are durable, practical, and comfortable. I use them for climbing, doing yoga, and just lounging around. The sizing, surprisingly for Patagonia, is accurate. My waist is 32" and the medium works perfectly. They are not too long compared with other shorts on the market, and like all Patagonia products, these shorts are backed with an ironclad guarantee.
nice shorts
these shorts are pretty nice. the fabric is stretchy and soft. the stitching is amazing. and they go to above the knee which is what i like. i got the large as i am at the edge of medium to large - which was the right choice. the drawstring or waistband could have been done better, but it is decent and that is its only imperfection. they're a litlle pricy, but i have already been abusing these shorts every day and they're doing great.
Great for Yoga not for the Gym or Running
These are a bit too heavy for any exercising. They are comfortable to wear around the house or do yoga but the price is pretty steep on them for any of those options. I chose these because they were the only organic shorts of this kind but not what I needed for what I am doing.
not for everyone
The shorts are very well made, as are all Patagonia products, but it was not what i was looking for this time around. I would recommend this product if you are into doing yoga. a little form fitted with a stretchy cotton feel.
