A zip-neck high-performance baselayer ideal for aerobic activities.
Ideal as a baselayer for endurance activities in cool to cold temperatures, Capilene 3 moves moisture effectively to keep you dry. Its brushed interior retains heat, while its smooth jersey exterior glides easily beneath layers. The fit is contoured and sleek without being restrictive. Made from quick-wicking, fast-drying and insulative 64% post-consumer recycled (and 100% recyclable) Capilene 3 polyester, with Gladiodor natural odor control. Imported. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material. Capilene Core PerformanceCapilene base layers afford quick-drying, next-to-skin moisture management for all activities in all conditions ? from high-altitude bivies to sun-soaked water sports. Best shirt ever.
I wear this shirt almost too much if that says anything. It fits into the SF Bay Area micro climate very well where temps can change quickly. Disc golfing, Hiking, fishing... It also is nice enough looking to wear out on the town. I also wear two sometimes or one with my beloved Mountain Hard Wear fleece from Altrec as well.
Excellent base layer for many sports activities
I have several of these and prefer them for both a base layer in cold weather, as well as a simple shirt for Fall/Spring use. I would recommend this highly.
Very Happy
You can't beat Patagonia quality. The fit is great and cut long for those of us with longer arms and legs. I'll purchase again
Yeah love it.
This has got to be one of the best shirts I have. I do a lot of hiking in 45-60 degree weather, so not cold enough to justify a jacket. With a wicked lite tee under this or by itself your ready to go for a while without having to worry about sweating. It keeps you warm but not to warm. Material seems strong and doesn't snag on the occasional branch that reaches out.
One of my favorite tops!
I have several of these and prefer them for both a base layer as well as a simple shirt for knocking about when it is cold outside. Would recommmend this highly.
