my kids live in these shorts
My sons love these shorts. They wear them almost every day all summer long- they're quick drying and so durable. We've gotten 4 years of use out of each pair and then we hand down to friends.

I got these for my son who is in between sizes at the moment. He is 9 yrs old but tall. I got the L and they fit a tad big everywhere and they'll probably still fit next year BUT they aren't too tight like the M. I am on the verge of going crazy trying to find shorts for this child. Anyway, Patagonia is always a go-to brand because of their durability and design. We live at the beach so the baggies are perfect for beach walks that turn into swimming fests. They dry super fast and are very durable. I wear mine for paddleboarding--just a very comfortable and functional design. Perfect for active people of all ages.

Classic Patagonia
Classic swimming trunks/shorts from Patagonia. Quick drying, fit is true to size, includes liners, draw string, and pockets. I have purchased these since my son was a toddler. You can't go wrong buying these!
