An ultralight, waterproof/breathable, 3-layer Ventia leg section, matched with a coated 500D Cordura boot section makes this gaiter a more pack-friendly alternative to the Crocodiles. The asymetrically cut boot section provides a secure fit with leather hiking boots or plastic mountaineering boots. A nylon-supported rubber instep strap keeps the gaiter flush with your boot, sealing out snow. The 1 1/2-inch wide hook and loop front closure can be offset to make room for insulated pants.

Great Fit and Keeps You Dry!
I got hooked on snowshoeing last season and these kept me dry and warm for many trips into the Utah mountains. They are a great fit especially for those of us with "sinewy" legs. Definitely recommend for those who want to enjoy the simplicity and solitude of "shoeing" while keeping dry.

PERFECT!
I live in northern Ca. and we have had lots of snow this year. I hike and snowshoe a lot and the gaiters keep my legs perfectly dry. They are easy to put on too. I The price is good and I highly recommend them!

Nice
They're very durable, but I've only been able to use them once this year- and I live in MT. They did a great job keeping my legs warm and dry. The only issue I had was with FedEx- who delivered them to the neighbor instead of me (it was a nightmare). Wish Altrec would go through UPS instead, but their service was AWESOME- so I'll keep using them too.
