Lightweight Gore-Tex jacket
I returned this jacket because it was too lightweight for what I needed it for which is alpine skiing in wet, cold, windy conditions. No powder skirt, no flap over zippers and too lightweight. If you are looking for a good rain or ski coat to wear in warmer weather this would be a great choice. I purchased a Medium which would be my usual size for a ski coat. There was plenty of room to fit several layers underneath. If I were going to get this for warmer weather activities without as many layers underneath I would try a small as the medium was bigger than necessary for that. Construction and zippers looked good and functional. I prefer a zipper flap over my front zipper and this coat did not have one. It did have a flap behind the zipper but I have found those to let cold air through when skiing fast. The hood did fit over my ski helmet and allowed for head movement without vision impairment. Good buy for the sale price for the right purpose.
