Don't settle for another parka
If you are looking for a water bottle parka, this is the one to get. Don't mess around with cheaper ones, you'll end up with this one anyway. It's the only one that will keep your drink cold after five hours of hiking in Arizona heat. Love it.

The best
I considered some neoprene non-zip warmers, but every expedition company seems to recommend the OR Water Bottle Parka. The fit is snug on my 1L Hunersdorf or my 1L Nalgene. I NEVER use my Nalgene with this parka, because if it's cold enough for the parka, it's cold enough to take the Hunersdorf bottles. On epic cold climbs in sub-zero weather, I toss a hand warmer or two in the bottom of the parka before inserting my water bottle. This guarantees that I don't get frozen drink in the middle of the day. You can strap it to your harness or sternum strap, and you've got accessible drinkable liquid in -20F temperatures!

This is by far the highest quality bottle holder on the market. I can't really say how well it keeps things cool, because I got it to keep water liquid on early morning sub-freezing summits. It does that very well. Not many people realize that camelbaks and unprotected h2o bottles = no water on cold mountain climbs. It is very bulky, but that is what keeps your water from freezing - the high level of insulation. Overall, the construction is extremely good. I can't believe the level of detail put into it. Not sure about durability because I have only had it a short time. Don't waste your money on any other that costs $10-20 and doesn't work. This thing is huge and bomb-proof! The size 1 fits normal 32oz nalgene's great - no problem getting out.

easy to use, durable, definitely a must for climbers, especially when you need to keep your water hot enough for a while this thing is the right one, I would highly recommend this
