Great multi-functional softshell pants!
I bought these for my boyfriend to use primarily as xc ski pants. However, they have turned out to be wonderful multi-purpose pants that he has used for activities ranging from winter running, skate and classic xc skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, etc. The large fit him perfectly (he's 6'0 and 185). They are neither too tight nor too loose just the right fit for the above activities I described. He almost always wears a pair of Patagonia Capilene 3's underneath and stays perfectly toasty, even when the temp dips into the negatives.
