Great light warm comfortable insulator
This pant I use throughout the summer, fall, and spring as an insulating pant during belays and rest stops. In the winter i use it as an insulating under layer (on occasion) and warmer days in the winter (days above 15 deg F) as a belay or as an insulating pant when taking my skins off and waiting for friends to finish skinning up to take a backcountry ski run. I use these for climbing, alpine touring, backcountry cross country distance touring, and lots more. They are at least in my pack to put on when I am stopped for lunch, a belay, or waiting for the rest of the crew to finish skinnig up a peak to ski. This pant has a prominent place in my quiver of insulating layers. I use it in wet snow caving situations and it works great repels water and keeps me warm. Love these pants.
Conquered Mont Katadin
Warm cozy and comfortable outdoing Maine's cold temps and handled Mount Katadin. These pants were just what a mountain guide wants to keep him warm when waiting for your turn to climb. They really were a joy to have along ice climbing. Well designed zipper and convenient [dr-op ]seat.
