Great for rock climbing small and large walls. Waterproof, Windproof, Light Weight, and Durable. Best soft shell I have ever owned! This product is a must buy for mountaineering.

Great jacket
Have had this jacket for over a year now. Still makes me smile very time I wear it. Windproof and warm with the right layering. Looks different than anything else out there. Highly recommend.

Great jacket
I was looking for an insulated, waterproof, hooded jacket. Don't think I could've found a better fit than with the Mithril. The fit is definitely geared for a more athletic build. I'm 6', 165 and the medium fits great. It's the perfect weight for the Northwest climate, the fleece lining is just warm enough but doesn't get too hot when exerting yourself. Seems to be totally waterproof, although I haven't had a chance to really test that yet. Looks good around town, and performs great in the elements! No regrets here

Great all round softshell
Really like the versatility of the softshell jackets and have owned a Mountain Hardwear Syncho jacket for three years. The hood on the Mithril, tighter material weave and a little more interior fleece gives this jacket a lower temperature range and the ability to wear the jacket in bad weather. Also great for skiing.

Awesome
Put this jacket to the test immediately, teens to low 30's for weeks now, with snow and rain. Jacket is excellent! Not by itself, but with a hoodie or nice underlayer.
