great item
it has a very smart construction, there is nothing to add, great product. i would recommend it for those who ski and climb.
Mentor's run small
I bought a medium after reading reviews that these pants run large. I'm 6'1" and 170 lbs. The length is just a little short, but the pant is definitely on the tight side. There's is no way I could fit knee pads under these pants. Other than the size they are wonderful pants. Really nice gaitors they fit extremly snug (good thing). No snow getting in your boots. Nice sized pockets and completely waterproof. A great alternative from the pants that cost more. Best pro shell pant out ther for the money, but I'll be returning mine for a large.
OR Mentor
OR delivered once more a great product. Quality and durability with the addition of the hight waist, "bib" style makes it perfect for the worst climbing condition. As usual be aware that a medium is equivalent to a large with Mountain hardwear. Expensive but worth it!
Great fit, good weather protection
I just recently bought them so not a lot of wear and tear but so far they have held up well. I bought them mostly for the backcountry, to keep me warm and dry. Great protection from the weather. I'm a woman, but have had a hard time finding womens pants of similar quality in a bib style so bought these in mens and am very happy. It's nice that they aren't super baggy.
Great Shell
These pants are more a mid-level bib than pant. I took them up to Big Mountain this past weekend, where the temp was an unseasonable 35F. I was concerned about staying dry due to the warm, melting conditions. It was snowing hard, and despite snow turning instantly to water on my upper legs as I sat on the chairlift, these pants had no problem keeping me dry. It was the perfect test, and they passed with flying colors. They fit neat and allow you to move and shake with no restriction.
