Exactly the cap I needed
Used it in a horendous fishing trip. In one afternoon it bucketed rain, pelted hail, and drizzled the rest of the time. And the drifter cap kept me dry and comfortable. One downside, like some other reviews, I found the sizing a little large. While it has a good adjustable headband, the cut of the cap leaves it looking like a mushroom unless you pull it right down. Still, great cap for fishing, back-country or any activity where bad weather can unexpectedly hit.

Awesome
I now have 2 of these bad boys. I purchased the first one even though I hate ball caps, to help keep the hood up on my Arcteryx Alpha jacket in the rain. So every thing past that task was gravy. As it turns out this thing fits great, looks great, and repels the water great. This thing is awesome and my new "go to" hat. It has only been through a few rain storms so far, so it is hard to gauge durability, but based on goretex's reputation and OR's reputation, I expect to be wearing this thing for a while. I am even gonna buy a third one for my dad because he saw mine and wanted one for the rain!

Great Hat
Like all OR products this hat is made well. The fits is good (I like the string adjustment on the back of the hat great for when the wind kicks up) very light weight, it breaths like it should being made with Gore-Tex. This is a Great Hat.

nice cap
worked extremely well on a wet salmon river trip. kept my head dry and comfy. adjustable to allow other head gear. great hat!!

Awesome Hat
Sheds water great. Ive used it for running and hiking. Keeps you dry and you will not overheat in it! Very functional and perfect for cool rainy days.
