Great lightweight Bike pack
The Osprey Viper 7 is a good hydration pack for everyday rides and racing. It only comes in one size so you may have to shorten the straps. I also own a Osprey Raptor and this is quite a bit different as the Viper sits right on your back whereas the Raptor's back panel puts a space between your pack and your back though is quite a bit heavier. I use my Raptor 10 for Longer rides 4+ hrs and endurance races. The Viper though is very comfortable and very nice for shorter rides especially. I really like the pocket on the harness which my gel flask fits perfectly in. Very minimal design in the waist belt to cut down the weight but works just fine. The Viper 7 still has plenty of room for 2 pumps, a tube and tire lever, multi-tool in the main compartment and a small pocket for phone, sunglasses smaller more delicate items. On the front of the pack you can cinch a lightweight jacket or other item in place. Overall a very nice, plenty roomy, lightweight and nice fitting hydration pack for all my mountain bike needs.
