It took three decades to achieve next to nothing. That's the only way to describe the weight of the Oakley Nanowire, a titanium alloy frame that practically feels buoyant in air. But the real breakthrough is the adaptable fit, a benefit of memory metal that allows Oakley to create true sculptural contours that stay comfortably flexible. With a rimless design, it's probably the lightest sunglass you'll ever wear, even though it carries a ton of optical innovation. The unbeatable clarity of High Definition Optics (HDO) has been matched with the finest technologies ever to tame light rays. The Oakley Nanowire blocks glare with 99% polarization efficiency, thanks to the best polarized lenses on the planet. Oakley's permanent Hydrophobic lens coating repels water, skin oils and dust. Iridium lens coating balances light to optimize vision, and the lenses even have anti-reflective coating on the back side. XYZ Optics maximizes clarity at all angles of view, and our Plutonite lenses filter out all UV. If you need prescription lenses, this frame can go that route.

Great Glasses But Very Fragile
I love my glasses. The wrap around is cool and the light weight is fantastic, but, make sure you keep them in the case when you do not have them on. I made the mistake of putting them in my pocket while on a ride at Disney. When I took them out, they were cracked right down the middle . I gasped, and looked for another pair to replace them right away. Another Gasp ! They are discontinued already, and not many of the websites even had them . I think Oakley can repair them, but, I purchased another color from Oakley Vault for $ 200.00.. Just be careful where you put them. The polycarbonite lenses are not all that strong as I thought
Great for most activities, not-so-great for others.
Buy for these reasons: 1. Extremely lightweight. 2. Best polarization & light filtering of any other sunglasses I've owned. 3. Flexible but firm materials and construction to allow for great fitment. 4. Resists light scratches. 5. Easy to clean and care for. High quality cloth and rigid carbon fiber enclosure included. 6. Stylish for any occasion. Pass for these reasons: 1. When covered in sweat, they tend to slide down nose when head tilts down. 2. Sweat from brow leaves oily residue where it contacts the glass, blurring images in top quarter of sunglasses. 3. Straps that cover the ends of the arms are difficult to fit due to the narrowness of the arm, and this also alters fitment around ear. 4. Arms are held in place onto the frame by means of a notch and a nut/bolt combo. Over time, the nut may loosen and cause arm to weaken. You need a special tool to re-tighten the nut. The nut is extremely small and made of plastic. Summary: This is a fantastic sunglass for most any occasion aside from strenuous work or play. I love them.
Awsome deal, outstanding sunglasses
I purchased The Oakley Nanowire 3.0 sunglasses and I am very happy. Two reasons, one the price I was able to buy the sunglasses for at $239.00. If I would have bought them directly from Oakley I would have paid $330.00. With the 20% discount I saved a good amount of money and got the sunglasses in the color I wanted. Second, I could not miss the opportunity. The sunglasses are one of a kind the stems and the nose bridge are practically the frame of the sunglasses, very creative. the stems do adjust to your head giving you a good fit they will not fall off. The single ellipsoid lens is incredible, it's huge yet light weight. I think after the G.I. Joe movie, these sunglasses sold out quickly.
