Farmer John goes high-tech with 3 mm titanium-coated neoprene and stretch body panels.
We took the solid tradition of the Farmer John and added innovative features, making the Ultra John the ultimate 3mm wetsuit. Titanium insulation makes it warmer, ThermalPlush&$153; lining makes it more comfortable, and PowerSpan&$153; panels give you extra freedom of movement. All the seams are glued and blind-stitched, and the seat and knees are armored with rugged TuffTex&$153; material. Ankle zippers make slipping the suit over your booties a breeze. The Ultra John also features a YKK extra-long, double-pull front relief zipper for convenience.

Fantastic Wetsuit
This cut and stitching makes for a very comfortable fit. I just spent the better part of the day getting knocked around the river, and the padded knees and reinforced seat came in handy time and time again. NRS makes a great product and I have depended on them for years - you won't go wrong with this suit.
Comfortable all day kayaking
I especially liked the lining. When worn over a rash guard I never felt clammy or sweaty in with a warm sunny day & cold water.
Works just great!
I have recently starting paddling a surf ski. Anyone who has done this knows at first this involves a lot of swimming. Living in the NE and doing this in March requires insulation. This wetsuit along with a Kokatat dry top keep me pretty comfortable during my work outs. I have a stocky build but the farmer john cut provided ample freedom of movement and did not chafe anywhere. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for 3mm suit for paddling.
Great buy
True to size... warm as undergarment (dry) and wet. My first wetsuit and this will be the one that I buy again when/if I need another.
Great suit, better men's features
Overall, this wetsuit is warm and fits well. I'm 5'7, 145 lbs, and the M was a snug, comfortable ift. The only problem I have with this and other wetsuits is it doesn't leave enough room for the male equipment. A nice cockpit (no pun intended) with the zipper going all the way down it would be a welcome design enhancement.
