HydroSkin Long Shirt NRS Men's Sleeve

  • Neoprene:0.5-mm Terraprene™ neoprene core
  • Materials:
  • 4-way stretch PowerSpan™ outer layer
  • ThermalPlush™ inner lining
  • Titanium laminate adhesive
  • DWR coating
  • Seams:Flatlock stitching

The HydroSkin shirt is warm by itself on moderately cool days, and makes an ideal mid-weight addition between a thermal inner layer and a windproof outer shell. The perfect addition to your gear bag.0.5-mm Terraprene keeps you insulated and stretches easily. ThermalPlush inner lining increases insulation, repels moisture and dries quickly.4-way stretch PowerSpan outer layer allows easy, unrestricted mobility. Lycra underarms eliminate binding, adding to this top's superior function either as a single outer layer or as a base layer. Titanium laminate adhesive aids in body heat retention. DWR coating forces water to "bead" and roll off the material.

Does the trick but has some minor flaws
I have been using this for the past 8 mos or so, on average of once or twice a week so that's about 32-64 times I've put this thing on. in that regard, it's held up quite well. However, the stitching on the bottom of the shirt was never properly lined up from the time I got it. someone(or thing) was too quick with the sewing machine and instead of stitching the fabric together, merely stitched the fabric to nothing. As a result all the stitching on the bottom has come unraveled as well as some of the fabric. other than that this shirt has worked great. I have used it instead of a wetsuit top in 55 degree water while kayak surfing and it was perfect. way warmer than you would expect. if you plan on getting wet and then paddling in the wind it will get you cold. you'll want to jump back in the water. it works very similar to a wet suit but drys quicker and its the evaporative-ness that makes it unfriendly when the wind picks up. Make sure you get a size up from what you actually are and check the stitching before you use it.

Did the job
I used it to raft a local class III section of river with water temp of about 50 degrees. Although I didn't swim in it I did go through some waves that covered me chest high and it shed the water real well. I never felt any chill at all. The problem is someone else must have liked it as well, someone stole it off my raft as I helped some other people at the take out.
