This isn't your father's (1970s) Bill's Bag. Now improved with the most comfortable shoulder straps in the industry and a clear vinyl strip for a better seal. 21-oz. PVC/polyester body and 34-oz. PVC/polyester round bottom. The 2.2 is small enough to fit in overhead compartments of most airlines, while the 3.8 offers plenty of storage for long excursions.

Big Bag
Bigger than I expected but good quality. Great for canoeing since you can carry all your gear to and from the water very easily. All that and much cheaper than other comparable bags too.

Best Dry Bag I Own
I've got a bunch of dry bags and this is the best for longer canoe treks (it's too big for kayaking). I can fit everything I need for week+ trips into the one bag and throw it into the bottom of the canoe. It's bomb-proof and great for portages. The strap on my first bag failed due to poor stitching, but Altrec was great on the return/replacement.

great bag
as advertised and in line with the other reviews I read before I purchased. Took it on a week-long hunting/fishing/canoe trip in Northern Maine. Everything stayed dry, fits a ton of gear, and is well constructed. Shoulder straps were comfortable for the portages. Worth 2X what I paid.

Great bag
I just got back from an upper Missouri river float. This bag worked wonderfully and held my tent, sleeping bag, large foam pad, clothing for 4 days, mess kit, toiletries and everything else I needed for the trip. I'm very pleased in every way with this bag.
