no more excuses for getting wet
follow the instructions and WHA-LA !! you'll stay warm, dry and happy. Not as good as a new jacket, but a heck-of-alot cheaper !!Throw it in the wash and pour in the magic liquid, now only your jacket will know it's raining

Essential Item for Snow/Ski clothing
Until altrec.com, I didn't know how to care for my snow/ski clothing. I was putting away my clothing for the season, when I came across this product on the site. I had already washed my TNF ski jacket once during the season and after I had used it, I noticed it didn't seem so waterproof. I washed the rest of the family's clothing and my ski jacket again. What a difference! Everything looked refreshed and clean. I now know what you wash your clothes with is important.

A bottle of little chemical coating umbrellas
Just remember to tech wash beforehand and your garment will be back to its water repellent glory! Keep in mind that normal detergents are bad for the DWR so if you don't want to spend time cleaning your washing machine a bucket in your bathtub or shower will do if you don't mind the hand washing.

waterproofing horse blankets
This product works great for rejuvenating the waterproofness of horse turnout sheets and blankets. A warm dry horse is a happy horse.

This stuff works!
Follow the directions and you'll be surprised at the results. The water beads up and the fabric feels new again. We used on some motorcycle gear and it really helped. It is pricey but I don't mind when something actually works as advertised.
