Best Winter Running Hat I Ever Owned
If you're like me, you start out your winter runs ABSOLUTELY FREEZING, but 15 minutes in you're sweating and over-heating uncontrollably. My winter-hat selection used to be to blame, but not anymore! This nike hat is made of multi-layered dri-fit material that, even though it feels thin, manages to keep my head unbelievably comfortable. It sits right up against your head so there are no gaps for warm-air to escape or cold-air to rush in. It's light, breathable but (like a wetsuit) still keeps you at a comfortable level of warm. A couple of perks you might not think of - if you're a girl, or you're listening to headphones, there's a slit in the back of the hat you can feed hair/headphone-wire through so it's not dangling down by your ears. Another great aspect of the hat is that it's thin enough you can fold the area up by the ears if you do feel too much warmth coming on, as opposed to overheating so much in another hat where you just have to remove it all-together. And lastly, I mistakenly wore it on a warmer race a couple of weeks ago and can attest that it is light/thin enough that you can stuff it down your shorts without worrying about an awkward bulge or any added weight. Oh, and it also layers well with other hats, in case it's 20 degrees out and you're unsure how much you'll warm up during your run. Enjoy!
