lightweight sturdy
I like Nike shoes because the toe box has plenty of room. A bonus, they are good looking. I'm going to Big Bend in a couple of weeks to put them to use.

i really love these shoes. they are sturdy, warm and comfortable. the colors are great together.i wear them all day and they stay great.

The quality of construction is great. I love the look of the shoe and the fit is a little larger than other Nike hiking shoes. The shoes do not have a inner sole that is as cushioned as other designs, but overall are still a very good pair of shoes. I would recommend heavy socks for added comfort.

The good and the not so good:
I am in the process of breaking them in before I do any mountain hiking. I walk 3 miles a day on the "flats" as opposed to mountains. I like that they are light weight. I do not like the fact that the right one is too large, as is the case in many shoes for me. The right one slips. I am hoping when it is broken in, I might be able to pull the laces tighter. Right now I am pulling them as tight as possible. I can only wear NIKEs because of my thin narrow feet. Other brands are too wide. A few years ago I bought a pair of NIKE hiking boots and they have been great. They were higher and supported the ankle. I had no slipping of the right boot with them. But they are worn out now from much mountain hiking. These new ones are low and do not support my ankle. I wonder how they will be for mountain hikes. Time will tell. I wanted the boots but could not find any in NIKE this time.
