The Backpacker Magazine teter even used it as an emergency shelter for 7 during a Rockie thunderstorm. This all goes to show that five sides are better than four. Compared to conventional square pyramid designs, the Nemo Pentalite 4-Person 3-Season Tent offers a near rectangular sleeping area and a roomy additional triangular vestibule area. Convert the Pentalite shelter into a fully weatherproof and bugproof tent by adding the optional Wedge Inner Tent. To minimize weight, the Wedge only has one mesh wall that zips into the Pentalite shell, while the floor attaches along the three remaining sides. A clever detail in the optional Wedge Inner Tent floor allows the included mono-pole to pass directly to the ground, preventing abrasion of the floor fabric. Its also possible to support the Pentalite by lashed trekking poles or a kayak paddle. Unique volumizing side vents guy out the tent and increase interior volume. Pentalite includes a DAC mono-pole, drybag style stuff sack, stakes, and repair kit. Optional Wedge Inner Tent, and Footprint are also available.
