comfy
I got these so that I would have some slip-on boots for shoveling snow, sledding, etc. They are great for that purpose and REALLY comfortable. They don't weigh anything, are still warm, and I've had no issues with traction. They seem pretty roomy inside so that's why I said they run a little wide. You could wear these with thick socks if needed. The rubber sole is already wearing down a little at the toe, but not so much to be a problem. I think that the rubber is just soft to be light. I got them on sale and they are excellent for the price. (I might have lowered the rating if I'd had to pay more.) They certainly meet my needs because I can slip them on and run outside. My feet don't get cold and I'm not weighed down by heavy boots when running around with kids and dogs in the snow.
Great Purchase....Love these Boots.
These boots are very comfortable and warm. Sometimes I wear them just for the warmth when there's no snow. I bought my regular size, which is 9, and they fit perfectly. If you want to wear really heavy socks you might go up a size but I find them plenty warm with a medium weight sock. They are great in the snow.....I am 57 years old and I am very careful on the ice....I can't comment too much about how they are on ice because I try to avoid it. I have only been in the ice once with them and they seemed to do well. These boots are lightweight and easy to walk in. I would definately buy them again.
Comfort problem
The boot has a nice appearance and is true to size. I wore it around the house a while and found it to be very warm. The problem is the seam sewn across the front arch of the boot. I was wearing a regular cotton sock and could feel the crease as I walked. The longer I walked the more irritating it became. I knew if I had a pair of winter socks on it would have hurt so I returned them. I don't have a high arch. It was the way the boot was made.
