I'd buy them again
I purchased two pairs of these polls for our hike up Mt. St. Helens. They worked great. They are easy to expand and detract. They have a great spring in them that allows for a little give when necessary. We lost the bottom of one of the polls in our sledding decent of the mountain. So make sure all sections are secure before you use them. These were a life saver for our long hike.

first trekking poles that I have purchased for me and my girlfriend. Very light to carry and does the job well. Havent had any problems in terms of durablity so far so the quality seems very solid. great bang for the buck
