Pricey but bombproof!
Finally bought a pair and glad I did. Love em! Fit fairly true to size, I wear a 32 and got 33's; fit great. just loose enough. Stitching is perfect, pocket layout is well thought out (I'm a big fan of the double front pockets). Excellent product!

Heavy Duty Workhorse Pants
The pants are true to fit and comfortable. They are a heavier material than I expected, but work great for the type of outdoor work that I do--. If you live where it is warmer, they could be too heavy for that climate, however. They are pricey, but worth the money when stacked up to quality and how much use I will be able to get out of them.

Great Pants for Active People!
I am 5'8", waist is 30" and the 30X30 fits me perfectly. the waist is right on the money, with enough room in the legs for a free range of movement that's required with active pursuits. Some might take this point for granted, but believe me, at smaller waist sizes, not having enough room in the thigh can be an issue. Not so with the Mountain Khakis. The fabric is very durable; a little on the heavy side but I see that as a positive. It also has a soft feel, and can be dressed up with a nice shirt if the situation requires it.

favorite pant
I have found that the Mountain Khakis run small in the waist. I typically wear a 34 waist, so when I have purchased MK in the past, I had to go to a 36-inch. I was ecstatic to find that altec carried these in a 35-inch waist!!!!
