Couldn't be more pleased
I've made it a policy to never by pants over the internet, but broke my own rule as these pants sounded adjustable, and indeed they are--slightly stretchy, with drawstrings at the waist and ankles. "Convertible pants" were recommended for a trip to Africa, and I read loads of reviews before making this order. The pants are beautifully made, and the zippers easy to use. The pants are nice looking (in my pre-trip test runs, I've received a number of compliments while wearing them) and they are surprisingly comfortable. I wear jeans regularly in non-work hours, and these are a fun alternative.

This is THE PANT
I have so much trouble finding pants to fit well. I'm 5'2 and 110 lbs. and these fit PERFECTLY. They are just stretchy enough to be snug but not tight and the length is great - I got SHORT. Love the material too. I haven't tried them out hiking yet so I can't comment on durability but they do feel high quality. I bought these for a hiking trip to New Zealand and can't wait to try them out.

Excellent Pants!
I absolutely love these pants! If you're going by the size chart, they do run a tiny bit large. So, if you're right in between sizes, I'd say go w/the smaller size. I'm 5'6" 130 lbs, and the 4 fit perfectly! Beautiful! I wish Altrec had more colors! I'd buy them all.

Buying my third pair. These pants always look flattering no matter how many times you wash them. They are so comfortable I wear them for everything. Great pants on the plane or travelling because they stretch and always look great.
