Built to standup to the harsh environments of Alpine Climbing but lightweight enough to take on your weekend backpacking trip, the Mountain Hardwear Xenon Pants for Women will work as hard as you do when making a push for the summit.
Constructed with GORETEX PacLite GORETEX Performance Shell, the Xenon is lighter, more breathable and just as waterproof as any other pant out there, but is also very abrasion resistance and will ward of snow, rocks and ice.
Pull open the waterresistant full length side zips when you begin to work up a sweat and be confident that yours will stay snow and scree free with elastic power cuffs at the ankles, reinforced with an Ambush kick panel.

really nice pants.
I was excited for these pants cause I got them for a great deal. They were exactly what I was expecting except they were very big. I tried a friends size m and I had to peel into them. I ordered size L and it's like I borrowed them from my boyfriend. In the end great pant but go with a smaller size.
Nice pants
Good construction with convenient full zips. Did find them a bit tight, though.
GREAT PANTS - LOOK OUT FOR THE SIZING
I found these pants to be a great buy. Materials are top quality. They have a Gore-Tex Performance Shell membrane. Fit is perfect for high pace mountain activities such as hiking and mountaineering. Also roomy enough to fit two layers underneath when doing high altitudes. The zippers are wonderful, they run smooth and easy (still to see how they perform in the long term). Pockets are very comfortable. The only thing I would rise as a caution note is for the measurements, they are bigger than the sizing chart indicates, so when in between sizes I would go for the smaller ones.
okay but...
Weird fit to these pants. The width of the thighs was okay, but from the knee down the pants were so wide and the fabric & zipper in that area were so stiff that the legs bowed way out to the sides.
strange cut
Kind of hard to describe the weird fit of these pants. The width of the thighs was okay, but from the knee down, the pants were cut so wide and the fabric & zipper in that area were so stiff that the legs bowed way out to the sides. It either looked like I had clown pants on or like I had a serious compound fracture on both legs. Will be returning them.
