great running jacket
i love this jacket. It is perfect for running/outdoor activities as well as running around town for errands. Its not too thin or bulky and the fit is perfect compare to other brands. It has a flattering comfortable fit and I LOVE the thumb holes. I live in Seattle and so far it has withstand our rainy spring season. Mountain hardwear is the BEST!
Love my MH jacket
Great running jacket for cold/windy conditions. Love all the features--hood, thumb holes, light weight, color. This jacket got me outside on some days when I previously would have opted for the monotony of my treadmill.
Great active jacket
I wore this jacket running at night and -4 wind chill here in Michigan with a long sleeved base layer and was comfortable. I never got cold and the wind did not penetrate. The jacket does fit small, so go a size up, especially if you plan to wear a thicker layer underneath. Loved the extended arm length and thumb holes...to my surprise they fit well over thicker gloves. The hood is a great bonus. Lightweight yet tough, this jacket is another great example of Mountain Hardware's high quality and thoughtful design.
lives up to expectations
This jacket lives up to my high expectations of Mountain Hardwear gear. It is well-designed, comfortable and high-performing. I've worn it for running and cross-country skiing and it is lightweight and moves well. It runs a little small - I typically take a small but the medium fits better on this one - small was too narrow across the back. The built-in wristies are great at stopping that gap between glove and sleeve or for when you need your fingers free. I haven't had it long enough to comment on long-term durability, but given the careful construction, I expect to be wearing it for years without problems. It was a little stiff at first, but softened up after a couple of washings. It is very lightweight and packs down very small so it's easy to throw into your pack as a spare layer.
Great Jacket!!
I wore this jacket in June for the Utah Valley marathon. It poured the entire time and I was warm and quite dry. Light and easy to pack for anything. The only bad thing about the jacket is it doesn't have any side pockets. If I could change one thing it would be that. Other than no side pockets, the jacket is warm, breathable and fits great.
