well made insulated pants
I bought these pants for a ski trip. They provided just the right amount of insulation and the right amount of room for my legs. I liked it the most because it was not bulky - like most ski pants that i have tried on. I would recommend these pants for anyone that is looking for very fitted, and still stylish ski pants.
Great Hiking pants in the White Mountains, NH
These pants offer great flexibility - just the right amount of insulation. The vents come in handy during the ascents. I was in 70 mph winds and -40 degrees my legs were toasty warm. I wear cold gear leggings underneath- just the right combination, I highly recommend these.
good fit, significant functional drawbacks
Other than being 2-3" too long (I am 5'4", sz L) these fit extremely well. Nice and sleek yet quite warm, just perfect for medium to high aerobic activities in the cold MN winter. For that they get four stars. HOWEVER, the insulation leaks out through the lining or "beards", the long strands getting pilled up and attaching itself to whatever you're wearing underneath even though in my case that is usually slick running tights. I'm also having a problem with the fly zipper constantly sliding down. Extremely annoying to say the least. They also really need a belt or a non-stretch adjustable waistband. As I said, the fit is perfect but because the stretch panels continue through the waistband, they don't stay put and are constantly sliding down. Another unacceptable annoyance for a garment at this price. I'm going to have to add a belt somehow.
Great ski pants
I love these pants. They fit pretty true to size, so if you wear a medium in most things a medium will probably fit you. They aren't super-insulated, but I was able to wear them with just ski underwear even on cold days. They are cut fairly trim, which is nice.
