Great Lightweight Shorts
I purchased the womens Petra shorts for rock climbing and hiking. They are very lightweight and the stretch they offer is great for climbing. Sizing is a little big, I purchased a size 10, which is usually correct for me. They do offer two buttons with elastic on the inside for adjusting the waist size. However, I found this to be a little awkward as the buttons can slip off the elastic on occasion. With that aside, the comfort and flexibility they offer out weigh this minor detail.

Awesome product
These shorts are very comfortable and durable. The adjustable waist is a plus. The material is light yet durable and dries quickly. The zipper pocket is also a plus. Fit is true to size. Would definitely recommend.

Petra Shorts
These are hands down my favorite shorts. I have them in Titanium and in Stone Green and alternate practically everyday wearing them. They are so comfortable...great for hiking, beach and golf! I highly recommend them. Wash and wear...no wrinkles...very comfortable and breathable....quick dry too!

great fit and durability
Hands down these are my favorite shorts for summer hiking. I bought my first pair at an outfitter shop in Zion National Park 3 years ago, but have since found them at Altrec. I bought a pair in every color! They are great as far as durability and I can slide down boulders and rocks on my butt without any damage to the shorts. These shorts also dry quickly which is important when hiking. I also love the way these shorts fit. I am a curvy girl and they sit nicely on my hips without any "muffin top". Vertical stiching and slot pockets also have a slimming effect.

burly yet stretchy
These shorts perform as the description says... burly enough to rock climb in & stretchy enough to move easily in, even w/ a harness on. I'm 5' 8", 135 lbs & bought these in 3 colors in size 6 over the last several years.
