Not just for runners!
Ok, so I bought one pair and I don't run. My daughter, who is a tri athlete saw them, tried them on and took them! So I just ordered 2 more pair for myself. They are so stretchy and comfy that I think I might live in them this summer. They are short but they don't cling to you at all. They do have the built in panty so they are great to work out in. But, also they will be a great short short to just wear out and about. Get a pair of these...you won't be sorry. I am 5"8 1/2' and 145 lb and got the medium. Tried the small but just a tad too tight for comfort.

My favorite running short ever!
I was so excited to try out the 2011 MH Pacer Advance Short. I bought two pairs back in 2009 and eventually migrated to ONLY running in Pacer Advance shorts. My best estimate is that the original two pairs have each survived more than 200 runs and are no worse for the wear. These shorts fit great and are much more slim in the waist and hip area than most running shorts. They are made out of a slightly stretchy material that allows them to move with you, but still hang loosely. Bonus: They have enough pockets to hold my cell phone, ID, car keys, iPod, and four GUs!

These are awesome shorts; they are a great combination of fashion and utility. They are true to size (I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, ordered a Small). I love that they have a smooth, flat waistband yet have enough pocket space for carrying the essentials. It has a higher rise than I expected, though usually the top is covered by a shirt and wouldn't be an issue. However, for those more "fashion conscious", the waistband is wide and flat enough that you can fold it over without it being too low or bulky. Happy running!
