Great jacket
This is a wonderful jacket. It is very comfortable and warm for days that you need a jacket, but not a heavy coat. I am 5' tall and weight 180 lbs and the XL fits me great.

great purchase
Is is comfortable, and very warm. Very good to be used below a rain jacket. I'm always cold but with this, I'm nice and snugly. The only thing is that I am very petite and the jacket is just perfect to me, so I think it runs a bit small. But I loved it and think is a great purchase!

Can't go wrong!
This is my first Mountain Hardwear jacket, haven't had a chance to wear it, so I really can't attest to all of the above first hand except sizing & I think it's true to size or even a bit on the large size. I'm 5'8" and wear a size 4/6 and I love that it's roomy enough, but not too full in the torso when zipped and the sleeves are loooong! Yay! My sister and all my nieces have one, they live in them in the winter & they look so awesome. I admired them all last season and finally decided with my kids getting older and into sports now, I needed a nice looking, lighter winter jacket that still looks sporty. I love it!

great warm jacket
I haven't worn this jacket yet but I got it for colder weather hiking/backpacking/mountaineering trips, sitting around camp, and for travel. The jacket seems very warm and the quality is the usual solid quality to be expected from Mountain Hardware. It's really soft, very, very light, and looks a bit fuzzy (monkey phur). I got the darkish purple colour and it's quite nice. I would NOT wear this on its own as it is quite roomy. It fits like a jacket. I am 5'9", 135 lbs and got the medium. The length on the arms and body is just right (i have long arms and a long torso). The sleeves are especially nice because they have fitted stretchy cuffs to keep the warmth in - the stretchy bit is also found at the waist and around the neck. I could fit another 2 layers under it comfortably. I find the fit a bit boxy at the shoulders but i am slight. Either way, I'm not too concerned about the appearance. I'm convinced that it will serve its purpose. Can't comment specifically on function because I haven't used it yet but I am looking forward to wearing it to a trip to Mongolia soon (October-Nov-Dec) and I have no doubt that it will be significantly warmer than my other polartec fleeces. This is also polartec but I think the fuzzy fabric will be better at keeping body heat in.

Most comfortable coat!
I am a huge Mountain Hardware fan and this coat is very comfortable! I prefer MH as it is more fitted than your everyday coat and the collar is perfect to keep your neck warm so a scarf is not necessary.
