excellent jacket!!!!! You won't be sorry.
I bought this jacket about a year ago. I used it when I went to Antarctica/Argentina last December 2010. It's a wonderful jacket. It kept me warm and toasty. It was so lightweight and easy to pack in my bag. (I also wore it on the plane). I also got one for my significant other. He loves it. He always wears it when he goes out for his walks in the morning. It also is water resistant. When I was in Argentina, the weather changed there almost every few minutes, it seemed like. One minute it was sunny, and the other minute it was raining. I didn't have an umbrella, so the jacket worked out really well. It actually surprised me. I love the hood. It kept my head and ears warm, so I didn't have to wear earmuffs. I read all the reviews about it before I purchased it last year. They are all five stars. I highly recommend this jacket. I bought it when it was on sale, and I'm a bargain hunter. I'm 5'6'' and weigh 120 lbs. The medium fits very well, with plenty of room for a T-shirt and sweatshirt underneath. It's very durable. My jacket still looks the same as when I bought it last year. So, what are you waiting for? Order it right now. You won't be sorry. I just love my jacket. I'll be buying more products here.
Great Jacket
This jacket is wonderful. Its very light and completely versatile. I use this jacket up on the mountains of CO and even on a cold windy day at the beach. I ordered a small and it fits great. My arms can move any direction they please and there is no feeling of tightness anywhere. The length is longer then I had expected, which is great. Overall, this jacket is awesome.
I love it
It's lightweight and comfortable, while still giving me the warmth I need. Unlike a lot of women's jackets, the sleeves are definitely long enough and there is enough room around the bust area and shoulders.
Excellent in Alpine Climbing
Light weight, warm, compressible and durable. Use in open country or the jacket will snag on bushes. Good insulation even when wet. Recommend using with the Mountain Hardware compressor pants.
Warm and Comfortable
I am 5'1" and 115 lbs and the small fits perfectly. It's form-fitting without being constrictive. I would like it even more if it were a few inches longer. The hood fits perfect and is very comfortable, but I'm not a huge fan of the straps used to tighen the hood. When I pull them, they end up being in my face. I was suprised at how thin this coat is for as warm as it is! It's incredibely soft and comfortable. It's warm enough on it's own for 40 degree weather, but works best in layers for anything colder than that. I paired mine with a fleece underneath and a rain/wind layer over top and it was perfect for very cold/wet weather.
