good
They're light as a feather, waterproof and breath very well. They just run small for over pants.

Ideal for motorcycling in rain
These pants are just what I needed as rain gear for motorcycle touring. Sizes do seem to run small. I got XL since I will be wearing them over other pants--perfect fit. The material is comfortable and the cord around the ankles draws tight around my boots. No pockets but I have no need for them. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this product.

Great lightweight pant for extended backcountry use
I've yet to take these pants out on trail, however i've tested them in a couple of storms over the past few weeks as well as in my shower. I'm very pleased with the construction as well as the features. This pant does not have any pockets, which i personally think is a plus but i know many who get annoyed by this. Also, it lacks 3/4 zips which are convenient for ever changing weather conditions. My only other complaint with this pant is that Mountain Hardwear has not yet upgraded the "abrasion area" panels of this pant from Goretex XCR to Goretex Pro...but that doesn't take away from the functionality of this pant. I love the weight and the fit, i'm 5'11" and have a 31 waist and I'm still able to fit a base-layer mid-weight fleece pants and trail pants under these in a medium size. I like Mountain Hardwears use of Gore XCR in abrasion prone areas and also snap guards at the bottom of the 1/4 zips. I've owned a couple of other Mountain Hardwear products in the past and am just as pleased with this item as the previous. I have no doubts about how it will perform and definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a durable, lightweight, and compact back country shell.

Solid Pants, Need a 3/4 lenghth zipper
The pants are well made with good attention to detail. The material seems quite durable considering the overall weight of only ~11oz. I guess time will tell. The overall fit works well for me. They have enough room to wear over a pair of lightweight hiking pants, but are not at all baggy. I am 6'1", weigh 195 lbs, and normally wear 34x32 pants. Large fits me well, the integrated belt make the adjustment a snap. Passed the shower test as expected with a gore-tex product. Only Con: the 9" zipper. Better than nothing, but it is not enough for quick/easy entry if you already have your boots on and a storm is brewing. The short zipper does not allow for ventilation if you are planning on using them in a hot/humid area.

Good fit, dry, comfortable, light weight
Consider what you intend to use these for. I used these as ski pants and the buckles on my boots sliced right through the leg. I have to patch them after five uses. The material is too lightweight for ski pants. Should be fine as raingear. I will save them for rain pants and buy a sturdier ski pant.
