it is very good
i bought it in 30% off. it is very good, great jacket.I wear it in cold weather with mid-layer. it wind resistance, water proof, light wight! really great jacket!
Durable Lightweight
I replaced a water proof, breathable shell I purchased a couple of years ago, thinking it would last 10 years. I have since been told they only last 1 -2 seasons and that if I want a durable shell, go with Gortex. I have a Gortex mountain parka that is 15 years old and still works great. I purchased this shell expecting the same. Seems there aren't many options out there for durability. It is very light weight and well made. The sleeves are a little long for my arms, but I like that for tucking my hands up in the sleeve when hiking in 40 degree NorthWest rain. Th bill is generous and the chord locks are pretty neat one-handed operation.
excellent goretex jacket
This is a great packaway jacket. I REALLY like the stowable hood feature and especially the pit zips. It is EXACTLY what I need in a goretex/packable and compact jacket. AWESOME!
Quality Jacket
I am 6'2 with an athletic build and the Large fits perfectly. This jacket has been holding up to the notoriously wet NorthWest weather. I would recommend this jacket to anyone. Its also nice because its light enough to be worn on a hotter sunny day.
Excellent jacket
This jacket is designed very well, it's construction is of the highest quality, and it is extremely lightweight and packable. I use it for day-to-day rainy weather but I wouldn't hesitate to take it in the backcountry or even skiing if I didn't want to wear my ski shell for some reason.
