Outstanding!
Spent two late September nights and 3 days hiking in High Peaks Region of Adirondacks with rain, wind, cold, and warmth and the jacket did everything remarkably well. Shell held up through numerous brushes with branches along trails and pit zips allowed for plenty of ventilation. Perhaps best of all,the jacket stuffs into a small pocket in my pack. Hood adjustment worked great atop Marcy with 40 degrees and 40 MPH winds.

Very nice shell.
The fit is great. The body length is good and the sleeves are long, but not overly long like some other manufacturer's jackets. I am 5'8" and 157lbs and I got a medium. The jacket is very light and hopefully will be durable.

excellent product!
This is a great piece of gear. It is light-weight, durable and water proof. A must have for hiking in the Smoky Mountains.

Great Jacket
Bought this primarily as an outer shell for the late fall/winter. When layered in the fall with the Windstopper Tech jacket and winter with a OR down sweater, the combos are hard to beat! Warm, dry, windproof-what more could you ask? Having used the NF Venture for years, I decided to give it a break and go for the Goretex and am not at all disappointed. If I could change any one feature, it would be to add elastic in the cuffs. I like the double flap as opposed to the "weather seal" type of closure. Another great product from Mountain Hardwear.
