Durable, comfortable, multi-use
I purchased these gloves for late-season rock climbing, where in three months of heavy use they've proven to be durable and comfortable. They provide the perfect level of protection for aerobic activity in cool (30-50deg) and mildly wet conditions, without compromising on dexterity. They're easy-on at belay stations, and never get in the way. At lower temperatures, I've occasionally worn them (very snugly) over Manzella silkweight liners, my previous "dexterity first, warmth second" solution. This also provides a bit of extra protection against wet conditions, though if you're spending much time in the wet you'll want something with better water proofing. Beyond my intended use, they've also been a good option for cycling, cross-country skiing, and winter photography, where again they do not interfere with operating shifters, making gear adjustments, and pushing small buttons. If I were to change something, I'd make some of the seams a bit lower profile, though on my hands they are positioned so that they don't rub noticeably.
Perfect Lightweight All-Purpose Glove
What I love about this glove is that in addition to it being a form-fiiting, dexterous and wind-resistant design, it's also a simple, easy to slide on and wear style. There are no cuff closure tabs, no velcro, no pull cords, it's just "slide on an go"! This glove can easily be used inside a waterproof, component glove or mitten shell. Being lightweight and form-fitting makes this glove very comfortable and appealling.
awesome glove
This glove fits great. It fits close to the hand and the goatskin palm offers good dexterity. They are windproof which is a plus when it gets cold. I have used them for outside activities as well as driving when it's cold. Everything I expected and more. I just wish they were waterproof.
Great gloves
Great softshell gloves. Good grip for the palm. Very breathable, and good water-resistance. I always wear it for cross-country skiing, even if the temperature is very cold. Perfect sizing for me, I'm 5'8'' and I took Medium size.
great replacement gloves
I've been looking for a replacement inner glove for my mammut,Zermat gloves,a two in one glove system, for about 2 years now,and found it in mountainHardwears Torsion glove,They fit a little tighter than the original windstopper fleece gloves, with the advantage of better dextarity, and a more durable palm leather design, just as windproof, and now better water resistance.
