Just not quite right
Well, I got these pants thinking they were a pretty good idea. Some real bomb-proof type reinforcements for climbing. Great idea. The seat and knees seemed good and if I had decided to keep these pants I am sure they would hold up under some decent abuse but I will never know. However, the pants don't quite make the grade due to inferior pocket design. Too few, too small. When climbing, or even a rough terrain hike, i'd like some deeper pockets and then a couple thigh pockets for extra items. These pants only had two front pockets, no side pockets or thigh pockets and the two pockets it did have were "VERY" small, shallow pockets. If you wore them before the climb you couldn't put a wallet in them without it being uncomforable. I really wanted to like these pants as they fit smaller and I am a smaller guy, so that was a plus, but may be a large minus as well for guys that are closer to a medium, you may want to size up. I really never wore these out because of the pocket design and sent them back. Better luck next time.
