great shorts!
I have gone through many a shorts looking for the perfect pair of summertime do all hiking, travel and lounging. This is the pair I now pack with me...just in case. They are lightweigh, packable, breathable, stretchy and have so far proved to be very rugged. I bought them just before a trip to the Philippines and i was glad I did as I work nights, but I spent all day runnng arond the city in them. The added benefit is when my co-worker arrived and we took public transportation around the city to see the sights he had his wallet lifted from his cargo shorts, but with the zippers I had no problem at all. I am looking at getting the pants if I can find them in my size on sale.

Men's Talus Short
I'm really impressed with these. I've used them throughout the summer and could not have been happier. They have just the right amount of stretch to provide some flex during big reaches, but maintain their form and don't get loose and sag. I have been a big fan of the Arc'teryx Palisade material for a while, but I think that this material is superior. It sheds moisture like crazy and virtually eliminates the need for a rain pant except in a heavy downpour. The construction of these shorts is great, from the lined waistband to the seams and angled pockets. I'm super picky about my backpacking attire and think that these are absolutely perfect. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs. and the medium fits me really well.

good short
These shorts are probably my favorite pair I own. The material is flexible, durable and very lightweight.I love them.

The best ever!
LOVE these shorts...now have them in 2 colors. Excellent construction and secure pockets; dry fast and are super comfy when hiking...they really move/stretch with you. I did shorten them an inch or two but I am a 5'5" woman wearing small men's shorts because frankly I have not found any brand women's hiking shorts as comfortable or functional as these.

Outstanding pack short.
This is the real article. The shorts are durable light and comfortable. Additionally, the pockets are well placed and zippered.
