The dependable standard in outdoor insulation, the classic Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Jacket for men is as essential as a reliable mountaineering rope. A four-season mountaineering shelter can save you from the elements and a -40F rated sleeping bag can provide adequate warmth, but it's your outerwear that's going to protect and insulate you all the way back to civilization, which is why this 650-fill down Sub Zero Jacket is an essential fit for extended climbs and backcountry skiing adventures. You'll find reinforcement fabric along the shoulder and arm in key abrasion areas and external fleece lined pockets to warm your digits and quickly stow some gear. This is expedition-quality protection for severe winter weather and high altitude conditions.

Very Nice
Light jacket and warm, fits great and looks very nice, altough is not for xtreme cold. It can be used with only a t-shirt under it. I recomend it to people who wants to wear something warm and not tha expensive and look good.
Nice, warm jacket
I've been nothing but happy with this jacket. I got the large and the fit was perfect for me (I'm 6', 160). It's been a joy to throw it on first thing on those frosty mornings when you;re dreading rolling out of the tent. Keeps me toasty warm.
Amazing
Surpassed all expectations.
Just what the Dr. ordered...
I recently purchased the Men's Sub Zero Jacket and it's perfect for my needs. The jacket is NOT BULKY, which is a big plus because I do not want to look or feel like The Michelin Man! It's lightweight, fashionably stylish; and the most important thing IT KEEPS ME WARM during the DAMP,cold winters in South Alabama. I really liked the collar that zips and covers your entire neck, front & back. The only change I'd like to see is a more discreet Mountain Hardwear logo. I appreciated the free shipping too!
Nice n toasty without the bulk
Purchased this jacket for my fall (Nov 09) fly fishing trip to Eastern Sierra. Based on the sizing chart I've ordered a med which fits me perfectly. Although I wish the length can be a few inches longer, I'm torso tall... Nevertheless, the draw strings inside the jacket kept the cold draft out. The jacket kept me warm enough in 20F degree weather and all I had on was a T shirt. It comes with it's own stuff sack, which is great when your traveling with two other guys with limited storage space. My purchase decision was based on excellent reviews here at Altrec.
