SPF 30 treated for UV protection. Mesh lined for cooling. Exceptional for work and travel.
Whether you're hiking over simmering plateau rocks or backpacking through the shadows of a meandering sandstone canyon, the Mountain Hardwear Canyon Shirt provides relief and protection from searing sunlight. The Desert Cloth contains a blend of nylon and polyester fibers treated with a SPF 30 sun protection finish. These compressed fibers minimize UV penetration but unlike some tightly woven garments, the Canyon Shirt has a wicking finish to expedite moisture transfer away from your skin without that annoying clammy feeling. The proven rubber button design stays together many soapy immersions beyond the wooden and plastic buttons often found on some travel/tropical shirts.

Great Shirt
This is a fantastic shirt for outdoor activity... Great in the summer and not too bad in the winter with layers... If I were to complain I would like the sleeves shortened slightly and possibly a little less expensive... No other issues...
Terrific hiking shirt
The light nylon fabric is cool and comfortable. The mesh inserts under the arms and in the back cape provide ventilation when you are working up a sweat. The flip up collar keeps the sun off of your neck. Quality construction and good fit. I will be ordering more.
Canyon Shirt
This shirt is more comfortable in long sleeve. When the sleeves are rolled up and secured with the button strap. You may find it restricting. With the side vents, it will remain comfortable as a long sleeve.
Great shirt
These shirts are more comfortable than t-shirts in warm weather, so you will see me in them all summer long. It also dries very quickly, making it great for hiking and kayaking. And the UV protection is a bonus.
Tough Shirts
I purchased one before I headed to Afghanistan along with a couple of other brands. This shirt has stood up to being worn with body armour, working in 130 degree temperatures and getting washed in sinks or having the locals do the laundry. Some of the other brands are already show the wear and have lost buttons, No problem with Mountain Hardwear so I have ordered more.. They do the job.
