Waterproof, breathable and highly durable bibs for climbing, skiing and snowboarding.
The Exposure II Bib is ideally suited for skiing, climbing and snowboarding--a stark contrast to many waterproof and breathable garments that merely specialize in a solitary alpine activity. It features a durable and waterproof 70-denier nylon dobby weave shell fabric that's uniformly backed by a two-ply waterproof/breathable Conduit membrane. Added reinforcements around the edge guards (ballistics nylon) and back panel (Schoeller) minimize the odds for fraying and premature garment retirement. Adjustable Velcro closures on the suspenders give you the freedom to dial in a perfect fit no matter how you layer your middle garments.

Great for the price
Having got this on sale, I have absolutely no complaints about this bib whatsoever. While it is rated 20k/20k I would say that it is not completely waterproof, but shoudl stand up in anythign short of a torrential hurricane. Basically if your using it in the winter as itnended, its unlikely you are going to get wet. The fit is great, and while its not inteded for warmth, combined with a good base layer, this piece will leave you feeling toasty. While the zippers were a pain at first, after some fiddling around, I can now work the amicably. They still might be a real pain trying to handle with gloves though (the issue is they get snagged on the material constantly while zipping them up). But once again, having got on a bargain, who am I to complain about the difficulty of the zipper. Would highly recommend for skiing or mountaineering. GREAT PURCHASE!
2 years f/u
I will write an honest review with the hope to get a 20% coupon. I gave away my Mountain HW jacket in Korea. This guys make great products, especially at the upper end of their line. This pants are a great e.g. I trashed them for two years, landed on rocks and trees and almost broke my leg, but they are in great condition. They protect you from the elements down to about 20 F, then you have to put some unddies. They run a tight size, if you have a beer tire at waist get the larger size. Happy trails!
I'm 6'1 with 32" waist. The medium has about a 34" inseam which is perfect for a lanky guy like me. Design, comfort and performance are what can be expected from Mountain Hardwear. Highly recommend it!
awesome pants
Bought these for my boyfriend who is, overall very particular with his gear. He is 6'1 and a lean build and hates the way pants never stay securely at his waist / hips, so he loves bibs. he LOVES these pants - he's a HUGE fan of MHW and loves the way these fit. the texture of these pants is also very awesome....they are, he says, perfectly warm in freezing temps with a medium baselayer, as well. if you are a larger framed person, these may not fit as well - they seem to be cut for a thin to medium build....
Great pants
Really great pair of pants. Worked well for climbing Mt. Washington in NH. Really like the internal gaiters. Work well with double boots and the crampon guard does a good job of preventing damage.
