This is the warm hat, very good quality. The best hat I have ever owned. It seems to be very form fitted. It keeps wind out very well. I would definitely recommend this hat.

Solid Hat
It is very lightweight but will still keep you warm. I have been wearing it to walk to class when the wind chill is in single digits and I have not had a problem staying warm. I would definitely recommend it.

A MHW Expert
I own 6 different MHW beanies and this is my favorite. I went night skiing in 10 degree weather with this combined with the MHW hardface balaclava and was extremely warm. The windstopper material is essential when racing down a hill or just in high winds, and with the notched ear pieces you can actually hear what people are saying. You might need something a bit warmer if it dropped below zero, but in above zero cold or high winds this beanie is unbeatable. Another great product from Mountain Hardwear, thanks.

HAT = GOOD
Keeps your head warm. Covers your ears with thinner areas along the way to make hearing better. Good for running, hiking, and other sporty type stuff. Runs a bit large, but not much. I would need more for a really cold day, but for daily use it is perfect. Plus price is just swell.

Best Beanie Available
This is the best hat that I have owned, period! It is windproof and covers my ears very well. It keeps my head toasty in very cold and windy conditions. On top of how great it works, it also looks fantastic.The only downside is that it fits so well over your ears that it does muffle the surrounding sounds.
