An organic cotton canvas cap with a mesh back for ventilation and a "stretch" fit. A must have for all Mountain Hardwear diehards. A Coolmax sweatband keeps you nice and dry.

Like it
I bought this hat because I liked the design and I like mountain hardware's gear. The hat is somewhat insulated making it hot to wear in the summer but it will be great for fall and winter or on the trail. I like the flex fit, but I would rather have a button fit.
Men's Big Nut Flex Ball Cap
Love this hat, looks cook and is very comfortable. Regular size seems a bit big. Quality and workmanship is what you would expect from Mountain Hardwear.
Solid cap
This hat is stylish and breathes well. It's very light in weight while retaining rugged construction. It's perfect for exercising outdoors or just wearing around when you don't feel like getting your hair did. I do however like a more rigid construction for fashion purposes. The material is soft and doesn't hold its own form. Instead it tends to stay a little more formed to your head. Overall, it's a great hat for exercise and not bad for looks. It's very comfortable and easy to wash with cold water and air drying.
Good quality but average cap
Kind of a "floppy" hat. Does not have sturdy side-walls as it appears in the online photo. I suppose a softer hat would be find for someone with lots of hair, but for those of you who have shorter or a shaved head, this may end up looking like a beanie hat. If you're looking for a softer hat that lies on your head instead of one that sits flush with your head, then this hat is for you. I think this hat is well built with quality material, its just not the kind of hat that works well with my head/hair. Take this review for what it's worth.
Not very good
First off, I have a 23" head and the XL fitted a little small. If it really looked like the picture depicted and it came in an XXL it would have been a nice cap. But the side panels were flimsy and just looked goofy on my head. This is the second Mountain Hardwear cap that I have purchased and it to had the same flaws. I won't be purchasing anymore hats from them in the future. They just don't know what their doing when it come's to making hats.
