Molehill Down Jacket
I bought this for my skinny 6- year old son, who shivers when the weather is in the mid-60s. He needed a nice warm down jacket for winter and I think I found it. This jacket is extremely lightweight, the hood coverage is awesome, and my son took it off after about 2 minutes and said, "Wow, this jacket is very warm." I spent a little more for this jacket and I think the front elastic pockets look a little funny, but it's worth keeping my little guy warm and it looks sturdy enough to be used by my last little boy.

Another great jacket from Molehill
This is the second Molehill jacket I've purchased and it's another winner. Last time around we bought an older version of the Kid's Snow Jacket - actually bought 2, one for each of my boys, and they were excellent, got three years worth of use out of one of them (handed down to my younger son) and even after all that wear and tear it still looks great, so we are going to donate it and I'm sure that someone else will get a lot of use out of it as well. Anyways, back to the Kid's Down Hooded Jacket - once again we are very happy. The jacket is warm, supper soft and lightweight, and the colors are great (bought one in Red and one in Green, which is an especially nice color). Lots of details - zip/ removable hood with velcro closure, inside zipper pocket, outside pockets, and more. (FYI - we ended up buying one jacket size 8/ 10 for our skinny, averaged height 7 year old (and it's a little big, so we might get 2 years out of this one on him) and one 6/ 7 for our slightly smaller than average 6 year old and it is a perfect fit, so it seems to me that they run a little small compared to the sizing.)

Great, Warm Coat!
I bought this coat for my son in green. It seems true to size and the color is beautiful. I bought a size 3T (he is a 2T) and it seems like it will fit him for this year and next. It is soft and light, easy for him to move on cold winter days. The hood is great and has a nice velcro closure to ensure that the hood stays on during long winter snowshoes. The zipper can snag a little on the fabric, but that is like most down coats, no problem here. We both love the coat and are excited for the snowflakes to start falling.
