It's chalk alright!
Kinda hard to go wrong with chalk, but hey, it gets the job done, and for a good price. The 'sock' really aids in efficient use of chalk, instead of spilling it everywhere

it works
This chalk doesn't stick to your hands well at first, but if you put it on enough times, it works okay. It also has a gritty texture that I don't really like.
