love them!
I had these shoes several years ago, but I grew out of them and have wanted them back ever since. I'm so happy to finally have them back - they are just as great as I remember. Keep in mind, they do run at least half a size small

I love these shoes, the best investment I've made in my feet ! After buying these have added another 3 pair of Merrell to my collection. My neuroma & plantar fasciitis has never felt better then when in these shoes.

Fit Great, Look Great
Typically, I wear Chaco sandals to hike in southern California but I needed something more substantial for a trip to Alaska in July. I was worried these would feel bulky and look even bulkier but neither is true! They were super comfortable right out of the box, didn't make my feet look too big and are really well made. The black/pewter are more charcoal grey/pewter and they do seem to run a 1/2 size small (I ordered a 7.5 instead of my normal 7s, and they fit perfectly).

I'm happy with them
I decided to order these shoes on-line because I have been happy with Merrell in the past and was looking for a new pair of waterproof hikers. They arrived a few days before a big trip and I was relieved that they fit and felt great right off the bat. Great for hiking or street wear. They are a bit heavy (expected with this type of shoe) and need to be double knotted, but otherwise free of issues. Haven't tested waterproof ability yet but I am very satisfied with them so far.

I appreciate the great service of the Altrec Team. Everything was just in time and uncomplicated. The Merrell Women's Chameleon Arc Gore-Tex XCR Hiking Shoes are very comfortable. I usually have problems wearing new hiking shoes but I feel well from the first moment on in these shoes. The colour canteen doesn't totally fit with the preview on the website. It is rather tan than grey but I like it better. Usually I am wearing size 8 but according to another review I choose size 8.5 and experienced this to be the right decision.
