Great shoes, Merrells rule!
This is the best all-around shoe I've ever owned. I've worn them in all conditions, in all seasons (including, my least favorite, to work in an office) and they are always comfortable, have great sole "grip" and are durable. These shoes are equally at home on summer lake trips, and winter mountain trips. These shoes provide nice room in the toe and forefoot areas; even though I don't have a wide foot, most other shoes seem to "squeeze" my feet, especially with thicker socks...these are great shoes, IMHO

Best hikers I've ever had
These boots are BY FAR the most comfortable hikers I've ever owned. Great support, great fit, good traction and as an added bonus warm and dry during snowshoeing season. I tried them out as snowshoe boots and with the goretex they were warm and dry, so much so I used them by choice the rest of the winter.

Perfect fit and comfortable
The shoes are perfect out of the box. The shoes provide great grip on slippery rocks and they look great too.

great boots
I really like the boots. Break in has been minimal, very comfy, true to size fit. Initial quality and styling very good. Waterproof so far. Can't rate durability, but everything so far couldn't be better.
