High and Dry
I am very satisfied with this purchase. I bought these rain pants for my wife. She is a very short small person that often often has to consider buying large child's clothes. After consultation with Altrec staff I found out that Marmot makes short lengths of rain pants. These short length pants in a small fit her about as perfectly as possible. In the picture she is in the middle staying dry. Everyone else had some problem with their rain wear. Obviously, you can see how nasty it was. From this experience I was sold on Marmot and since this time have bought myself a pair of men's precip pants. I have not yet had a chance to test my new pants in weather like you see in the picture. I am confident that I will stay dry regardless of the conditions.

My body measurement/style is as follows: Height: 5'3 Weight: 112lbs Inseam: 29" True Waist: 27" Hips: 36" (narrow hips, larger seat) These pants have a 9" rise in the front and 12" in the back. Although listed as low-rise they sit at the belly button level. I ordered a size Small and they fit perfectly even the leg length. They are unlined and have a bit of a "plasticy" feel on the inside but overall I am pleased. The Raven color is nice, the waist elastic is a little tight. has a rust color inside collar and the entire jacket is white/gray on the inside.

not very comfortable. My first pair of precip pants had stretch knees and seat which made them my favorite biking pants for bad weather in the spring and fall and even ice skating in moderate weather.
