Comfy and warm
I wore these for the first time in the last few days because the windchill was below 10. They kept me warm when I needed to be warm without me feeling overheated when I was indoors. They also don't seem to add a lot of extra bulk.
odd waist band
They have a 3 finger width, drop-waisted, super wide band. The elastic band is quite bulky with gathers of wrapped capalene over it. I got these last minute for EU Winter travel. A thin base layer. I'll have to layer a wool legging or pant over them.
Had to order a new one
Normally I wear a medium. A medium is snug, but a large is far to large. This medium, while it fits, is a bit snug, and hits in a very low place in the waist. I could technically keep it and it would work for me, but I'd be more comfortable with one size up, as I don't want to struggle with the waist hitting me in the wrong spot.
