Wonderful jacket!
This is an unusually light weight jacket with a long length that makes it perfect for Florida's wet summers and cooler winters. It is also a little dressier when I have to wear a skirt. It's easy to pack and can be taken along on northern trip and it is roomy enough to wear over a fleece. I fell in love with it when I first saw it. The "Raven" color is a nice dark chocolate and an excellent alternative to black. I am thrilled to have one of my own now!
Well worth it
I originally bought this rain jacket because of the added length, which is great. I walked all morning in the pouring rain and was kept totally dry in this jacket - I absolutely recommend it. I'm 5'4 and 125 lbs and I ended up fitting into a medium, which also fits well enough to layer a fleece underneath; length hits just above the knee. Once again Marmot does not disappoint!
Perfect
A great option for a stylish longer length rain jacket/coat that is as useful when traveling as well as for running around the city in the rain. Great for packing and the attached hood is a plus. Keep in mind when ordering that jacket is rather fitted in the torso/hip area so if you plan to wear it over bulky shorts or pants or a fleece jacket, you may want to go up one size; especially if you will be using it for hiking or other active sport.
Great Jacket, not what I wanted
Great jacket, light, sort of fitted but not enough. Looking for more of a beltless trench. This one is too close (even in color) to my North Face. Length is good - covers upper thigh. Definitely a better fit than other rain jackets, but I'd still like a more slender waist. Not exactly a lab coat, not exactly svelte. Want practical w/ style. Still looking...
Not Great
Well, the sleeves were too long, mesh lining caught on the velcro tabs, not enough room to layer and it was a pretty color. Value didn't equal the price of the jacket. Not one of Marmot's finer products. Quality was mediocre at best.
