Great tent
I was looking for the perfect tent to buy. I probably tried out at least 5 different ones and this one made the cut. A friend of mine had the perfect Marmot tent so I wanted to find something similar. I was looking for 3-season, durable against water and life in general, a window!, accessibility and room. The tent is great for all of that, my favorite part being the window. There are lots of pockets, which I like. The only thing I don't like is the nylon attachment that you can put at the top of the tent inside for gear. Kind of lame and hangs to low. Otherwise, I love this tent. It works well against the elements and is color coordinated so anyone can set it up!

Great Value and great quality
The Twightlight 2 person tent is the best price/size/weight combination that I could find. The quality is great, with a well considered design. Easy two door egress and zippers that won't catch on fabric. I like the little vinyl window. Easy set up with one tent pole assembly (can't lose that!) Substantial light weight pegs. Lots of room in the two vestibules.

Great quality but lacks headroom
The Twilight is made with the same high quality materials and craftsmanship you would expect from Marmot and the single pole setup is very simple which are both positives for the tent. The issue I ran into was when I set it up though it has a large footprint the slopes leading to the single pole in the middle made it feel a little tight versus a smaller footprint with steeper walls. I am returning this one and replacing with Aura 2P to give me a little more headroom with the more unique pole configuration. The Twilight is a great value and great tent but I am 6'2" and need a little more headroom when sitting up.

almost perfect
For backpacking I am a North Face fan. I have had a Tadpole for 15plus years and it is still in perfect condition. It has survived wind and snow and desert and tropical sun and has never failed. That said I went out looking for a reasonable but well made car/kayaking camping tent with two doors and vestibules. So the Twilight is almost perfect for that use. It could also work as a backpacking tent and could rival my tadpole as a larger backpacking tent except is it: 1. less stable as a freestanding tent and really needs to be staked out to achieve the rigidity of my tadpole. I can pick up the tadpole with little loss of structure and move it around. This is a great feature if you have to reposition the tent in a hurry. The marmot really collapsed when I tried to do this and I worried I would damage the poles or hubs. 2. Vestibules are large but the design really exposes your gear when opening and closing the door.It was difficult to get them taut enough in moderately rocky ground to really provide optimum gear protection. Also the vestibule zippers are so far away from the body of the tent when they are staked out you have to crawl out of the tent to open or close them. That was annoying. 3. The gear loft placement is poor. It worked better when we slept with our heads at the foot of the tent in the narrower section. Otherwise you bopped your head on the loft anytime you sat up. I am only 5'3" so I have no idea what a tall person would do. Positives: Marmot outstanding quality of construction, I love the window!!!, roominess, pockets. It is a very easy tent to set up but because of the hubs the poles are a bit heavy. For the price this tent is a great deal given it comes with gear loft and footprint.
