Good value for money
The sleeves are incredibly long, but you can use the velcro at the end to keep sleeves out of the way. I bought a size M, I'm 5'9 and I think I have an extra 3"" of sleeve. Better to have too much than too little. For a "softshell" jacket it's a little on the hard side, but it probably has better water protection than some others. Overall, I'd say this jacket is all I need in times where I used to wear two jackets--hard shell outside and fleece underneath.

Excellent Multi-use Jacket
PROS: Excellent fit. Relative to the other Marmot softshell jackets (e.g., Ultima, Gravity, etc) the fit is a bit more roomy, but that's good since this jacket will likely be used in rain or snow where other layers would likely be worn. Not bulky but sufficiently warm. Great for temps 50 deg. F and under. CONS: none that I can see.

excellent product
Got the vertical jacket to have to wear both on the slopes and around town. This jacket is extremely wind resistant and has a nice fit. Longer sleeve length was a plus for me. Great product.
